After 10 miles on Saturday, I decided I should run slowly to avoid injury.  Besides, I wanted to feel good.  I did and I do.  10.15 miles in 2:03:46 or 12:11/mile.  Average heart rate was 127, max 135.  Mostly not running slowly these days, but being Presidents Day, I had time.

Same clothes but warmer weather caused sweat to roll down my face.  Although it was humid, it wasn't rain that I felt on my face.  At 41 degrees, it was a little too warm for a ski mask.  It was tough to get going, but it turned out all right:  5.52 miles in 47:13 or 8:33/mi.  Average heart rate was 156bpm with 165bpm maximum.

I saw one lone deer at the top of the route who ran further up the mountain.

Late to bed, early to rise, but the results were good.  I ran about a 10K (6.24 miles) in 52:47 for an average pace of 8:28/mi with heart rate of 157bpm (max 167bpm).  Without the wind, it seemed warmer, even though the thermometer said 25 degrees.

Another slow run.  This time 12.34 miles in 2:32:38 for an average pace of 12:22/mi and an average heart rate of 128bpm.  I'd expect that I could go forever at that pace, but not so.  The last two or three miles I slowed down in order to keep my heart rate down.
