With two marathons behind me, my next goal is to run one in under 4 hours and potentially qualify for Boston within 2 years.

4.61 miles in 40:06 for an average pace of 8:42/mile.  Felt a little sluggish for a while, probably because of my 15 miles on Saturday.

Good news is that it warmed up a lot yesterday and the sidewalks are mostly clear again.  This morning's temperature was 22 degrees.

Slept in too late this morning.  So I did an evening run.  It's dark either way, but it was warmer (36 degrees) and much more traffic to watch out for.  Ran up skyline drive which I haven't done for a while and it was slow going.  Average pace turned out to be 9:06/mile (5.28 miles in 48:05).

Woke up at 3:30 and then at 4:00 even though I didn't get to bed until almost midnight.  So, I had time to go a little further today:  7.29 miles in 1:03:07 for an average pace of 8:40/mile.  Started out sluggish and ended strong.  One pair of gloves wasn't really enough at 23 degrees outside.  It's hard to know the right amount of clothes to put on.

Ran 8.5 miles with Bishop Jones and then we finished off the last 8 with the young men.  That means Alma, Ben, and McKay.  Richard started to run, but didn't last very long.  I was very pleased with Alma and Ben, above all.
