Second marathon was Oct 1, 2011 in the heat of St George.  Time fell to 4:52:27.

With two marathons behind me, my next goal is to run one in under 4 hours and potentially qualify for Boston within 2 years.

Total Distance
7.31

7.31 miles in 1:11:02 for an average pace of 9:43 in the rain with long sleeves and gloves and a hat.  41 degrees outside says winter is here and it will probably stay around for a while.  I ran far enough today to bring back the blisters and I wore myself out pretty good.  Maybe it was a little more than I was ready for.

Blisters and rain. Gotta love it.

That's a very nice return from the marathon. That weather must be fantastic right now, we are back in the soup down here.

Yesterday was a little cold, but today is absoultely gorgeous. No rain and beautiful white mountains all around.

It's easier to complain about the bad weather than to get excited about the good weather. I guess that that means that the weather is best when it's least noticed.

Muscles are still sore from yesterday, so I need to keep taking it easy.

Burt:

I don't love blisters, but I'm thankful for blister bandaids that help them get better. I don't like running in the rain either, but I love the snow in the mountains that comes as a result.
