Second marathon was Oct 1, 2011 in the heat of St George.  Time fell to 4:52:27.

With two marathons behind me, my next goal is to run one in under 4 hours and potentially qualify for Boston within 2 years.

Tried out my injured foot today.  Had some pain between miles 2 and 5.  Hardly noticed it on the last half, but it hurt when I got home.  I iced it, and that helped.  Not too sure what I'm doing or if it was a mistake to run on it.  It was my first run since Thanksgiving.  The weather was really nice this morning.  Had a little precipitation, but I couldn't tell if it was rain or snow.  The temperature was 34 degrees.  Most of the snow has melted and I didn't have to jump over too many snow banks.

I ran 10.21 miles in 1:36:10 for an average pace of 9:29.

Good run. My guess is you are OK (so long as you don't overdo it) if ice made it feel better and if it went away as the run progressed.
